Beading Needle are more flexible and thiner than other needle like sewing , which width remain the same from point to end. so, it can passed multiple time through the tiny seed beads. Sewing needles may not be used for beadwork.
Needle sizes are usually 11, 12, 13. The larger the number, the smaller the diameter of the needle. The diameter means needle's eye.
size 11 are perfect for 8/0 and 11/0 beads . (Looming Beadwork)
size 12 are great for 15/0, 11/0, 8/0 beads. (Off loom Beadwork)
size 13 are perfect for 15/0 and very tiny seed beads.
If you choose the right size of beading needle that will make your beadwork more satisfaction with less broken beads.
